We have been meeting online at Facebook live for some time now. At ReGen, we have never locked our doors. If you need that human experience, we would never turn you away. We have plenty of room for social distancing within our walls. So stop in online or live, and meet your Savior who died that you might one day live in Glory. Jesus is the heartbeat of our church, and the only reason we exist. We are one big motley crew of messed up sinners, yet He loves us. So don’t stand outside, come join the sinners who have been redeemed. There is no one unwelcome so leave your sin and shame at the door, and come sit with us at the table, rest awhile, and be set free!
A MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR: 03/13/2020
The impacts of coronavirus are undeniably being seen: our children’s schools have been closed, the lines at the grocery stores are out the door, and there is a heightened emotional tension we are all feeling at a societal level. Some people are very concerned, others are not. I’d like to take a moment to address how we as a church are responding to this event.
We are choosing to meet fear with love, which is what we are all called to do. That is the very essence of the Gospel and who Jesus is. While there are some practical steps we can, and will, take in response to the coronavirus, we are doing so from a place of love and not from fear. We can trust in God’s love, and we are called to share that same love with others.
We will continue to have our regularly scheduled Sunday worship services, and are taking the following steps to promote the well being of those who wish to join us:
● We have treated our meeting spaces with an appropriate disinfectant and will continue to do so.
● We will serve communion in a way that minimizes the potential for cross contact.
● We are encouraging people to respect others desires for social and personal space. Some people are not concerned about hugs and handshakes, others are. Please understand that loving another person means not assuming they are comfortable with personal contact.
We will Livestream our services on Facebook at Spring City regeneration Church at 10:30 AM this, and every Sunday.
This Sunday we will also be taking time to specifically pray as a group for all of those impacted by the coronavirus. Please join us if you wish, and we will also be streaming the service on Facebook.
As we enter our 18th week of existence as a church body we are so thankful. We are thankful to those who held onto and joined us in a vision that many thought was crazy and would never come to be. We thank you for being willing to be part of an imperfect family. We thank you for putting up with all the craziness of the last 18 weeks, while we all learned to be a family, a church, and a team. But mostly we thank you for being willing to work hard and just love on EVERYONE who walks through that door. "FIERCE" woman's group is off to a great start. many thanks to Julie for her willingness to lead this. The men's group, which is yet to be officially named, will be meeting on 02/12/20 at 7PM...thanks to Dan and Jon for their organization. Carol has a grief group organized and will be starting on 02/19/20 at 7PM, and last but not least Our Autism Awareness and Support Group starts 03/05/20-6;30-7:00 PM If you have any suggestions of what this valley needs in terms of services, join us on Saturday, 02/29/2020 at 10 AM for our first meeting of the minds to brainstorm and determine the direction that our ministry in the community center will take. A continental breakfast and coffee will be served.
As we enter 2020 please be in prayer for those in our community who are in need. Please get in touch with us for any immediate needs that we can help with. Let us know if you are in trouble and need help. We have many partners that we can bring in as reinforcements to help with problems! Is there an ongoing need in the community that needs to be met??? please contact us with that and we'll do what we can to make sure it gets the attention it deserves.

December 13, 2019- A great time was had by all at the Spring City Borough tree lighting!!! The choir sang Christmas carols and many people sang along!! We mingled and talked to all the people in attendance. We made many new friends and forged new relationships! Smiles were on all the faces of our ReGen family! Cookies were eaten by the hundreds and hot chocolate was consumed by the gallon. A special appearance by a "most Jolly old elf...." was well received by the children in attendance. Several families toured the ReGen church building and many discovered for the first time that we were open. Thank you Spring City for inviting us to participate!
We continue to be closer to opening our kitchen!! November 26, 2019- Sorry for the lack of updates! we've been BUSY< BUSY< BUSY!
We have had our 5th and 6th services!!! It's amazing to think that we are shattering all traditional thinking of "it takes a year to plan a church launch". God simply says, "In four weeks I'm giving you a building and a church." and faithfully people follow what he's doing and walk through the door. We should, by all traditional methods and according to all the "experts", still have 42 weeks of planning before we open our doors!!! ReGen places no limits on the Lord! When he says go, we go! #ToGodBeTheGlory!
This Thursday is Thanksgiving!!! Stop by at 2PM for a free thanksgiving meal! Turkey and all the trimmings, prepared by our own Pastor Bill Beck!!! A great time will be had by all!! You can still donate or volunteer for before, during, or after the meal!

They are getting ready to sing at the December 7th, Spring City Christmas tree Lighting at the Spring City Library!! Come on out and sing for joy during this Christmas season!! We will also be providing cookies and snacks!
This January we will be starting a Music and Art class in the Community center. Watch our Facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/SpringCityRegen )and the website here for details. Classes will be for 2-3 year olds and 4-5 year olds and run 6 weeks. The classes will be taught by Beth Heim and Joe Mattis. Classes will introduce children to rhythm and music and singing and dance.
Our roof is fixed thanks to Roy and some of his friends so soon we will start some interior repair projects!! The dining room is cleaned and polished, painting projects are nearing completion and the house is just generally looking good! Thanks to all of those who have donated time and energy!
November 11, 2019- We had our 4th service with the Gospel being preached by our own Josh Reedy. We're getting the sound system dialed in as I was told its the best sound we've had yet for worship. That being said, we don't even need sound to know that God is in the house!!! His presence is overpowering and humbling at all times. Numerous people responded to the message.
Beth held the first choir rehearsal. It's like a little taste of Heaven to hear the voices singing praises to the Lord!!! Come on out and join us! You needn't even attend church here to sing with the choir or do ministry with us! Work is underway to get the hall ready for our Thanksgiving guests! Come on out and feel the love of God's people! #ToGodBeTheGlory!

October 30, 2019- So its been 19 days that Spring City ReGen Church has had its doors open. In that time we have prayed, been represented in two parades, prayed, touched over 2,000 lives with an invite to the free Thanksgiving dinner, prayed, held countless meetings, prayed, put in hundreds of hours of work on the building and grounds, prayed, held three services, prayed, responded to the needs of the community, prayed, started a bible study, prayed, planned the first music ministry, prayed, met many of our neighbors, and prayed some more. In the words of a friend, "This is the beginning of something amazing..." God is doing AMAZING things in the Valley. It's been a long time since I've been excited all week, looking towards Sunday! Stop by and visit...We're usually open everyday, Services are Sunday at 10:30. Get there early for our FREE coffee in the Friendship Room. We'll leave a light on for ya! Sunday was our third service!!! Pastor Beck brought a great word on our dance with Christ! This week we will be in Luke Chapter 3:21-38!! Ministries are beginning to emerge!! Thanksgiving is around the corner and we're making preparations for our free Community Dinner! We hope you like the new website updates!! Josh has been working hard! You can now volunteer and give and ask for prayer all in one place!
On Sunday October 13, 2019, ReGen Church held its first service. 65 souls were in attendance! Service opened with Praise and Worship. People from the community came back to God's house and were fed. They were hungry for Jesus! Thanks to all of the volunteers who made this happen! To God be the Glory!
In 2016 the Spring City United Methodist Church was closing, God determined that It would be reborn as a lighthouse of service to the community. For three long years God's faithful people prayed. In the summer of 2019 we were contacted and told that those charged with selling the building had now seen the vision and wanted us to have the building. On October 11, 2019 Spring City Regeneration took possession of the property. God's plans to simply Love on and serve people include several churches in the building, a music ministry to teach kids how to play and record their own music, Feeding people, instructing people for employment preparation, a daycare, men's and women's groups, helping veterans and homeless, and a coffee ministry with live music. God is working in the Valley. We would love you to join us simply loving on people!!

I am writing this because there seems to be some confusion as to the Who, What, Where, Why, and When of Spring City Regeneration Church and Community Center. I thought everyone knew this story as I have told it to anyone who would listen over the last four years! I hope this clears up a lot of what has been circulating.
In mid-2016, when my bride was involved in “Hope on the Hill”, a food ministry at Spring City United Methodist Church, I was told by the Pastor there that the church would soon be closing. It was such an icon in the community. Yet through the years the congregation had dwindled and there was no mistaking that it had fallen into a state of disrepair. Still there was something about that old building that pulled at me. I began to have a series of visions of the building becoming a version of her former self. A lighthouse in a dark sea. A lamp on a stand. I remember being awakened night after night and God speaking plainly that this would happen. That many ministries would happen here including help for children, young mothers, homeless, and the Spring City/Royersford Valley. God kept me awake, night after night for three weeks. During this time, I wrestled with what God was telling me. “Not Me, I’m not a pastor.”, I told him… “You’ve got the wrong guy.” Finally, I told Him, “OK! If you just let me get some sleep, I will do what you ask! But it is not going to work! I am just a retired cop! And I play the drums…Those are my only assets.” I told my bride about the visions and she encouraged me to do whatever God was telling me to do. During this time, I relayed my visions to one of the wisest people I know. A man respected throughout the area and a Pastor Emeritus of his original church, Jack Mason. He encouraged me to, “step through any door that opens” and to “Follow God where he leads.” He also told me that a man that belonged to a local pastor’s group in the area, had had the same vision. He told me where that man lived and that I should go speak to him. I knocked on that man’s door and was invited in. He was called to come downstairs. I told him that I heard that he had a vision for the building and that I had one too…and that is how I met Pastor Bill Beck.
Bill explained that he had a vision that was primarily the same, but his vision included a figure of 1000 people and an extremely large sum of funds needed for the ministries. We became fast friends and at one point climbed what Bill referred to as a “staircase”, which was more like Jacob’s ladder if you ask me, to the roof of the bell tower. It was there we prayed over the Valley and prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom and blessing. We both would stop and pray on the steps of the building that God’s vision and will be done. We began to work to make God’s dream come true. Another local pastor and I made a video that I posted online in order to raise funds to purchase the building. It had no success. Bill Beck and I toured the building with a group of respected Pastors who could see the vision and simply restated the encouragement of my first pastor so we started to work!
We spoke to people who also caught the vision. God had given me a dollar figure to offer so we did, having no idea where we would get the money if they accepted. It was during this time that I received a phone call from a woman who I will call “Angel”. Angel said she heard that I had had a vision and asked me to tell her my vision. I related the entire story and at the end she said, “I see your vision. I received some money in an inheritance and want to use it for good. I’ll buy that building for you if you can get them to sell it for that price!” They turned down our offer and put the building on the market. Also at this time another Methodist Church that had toured the building with us offered to take the building and then allow us to use it if we payed all the expenses…that too fell through…We continued to pray. I prayed for open doors, I prayed for closed doors, I prayed God’s will be done. During this time, the vision died for some. But it remained alive too the faithful.
Three times the building was sold. Three times I called to confirm. Twice I was told it fell through. Every once in a while, people would ask about the status of the vision, of the building. Angel and I spoke several times during these years and she always said, “I’m still here. I still see the vision.” At one point I thought that maybe the door was closed, and we were supposed to keep God’s dream alive by renting a storefront…but they were all out of our reach financially. The third time the building sold in April 2019, and I called and got the devastating news. A check was being sent the next day to seal the deal. I reiterated that our original offer still stood, and that God had promised that building to the community, but I was crushed. It must not have been a vision…it must have been me…the building was gone. During this time, I lost touch with Pastor Beck. We all continued in our separate ministries but life seemed a bit hollow when what I began to think that the Vision of God, may not have been a vision at all, but simply something that my mind set itself on…Again, more prayers for closed doors.
Several weeks later I passed by and saw that the building was still listed for sale. A few weeks later the man in charge called me and asked if our vision was till the same. I stated that it was! He asked, "Can I go back to the other trustees with anything more than your original offer?” I told him these exact words, “God hasn’t come to me and said, “hey I was wrong Bill, it is not $80,000. I made a mistake, its $110,000.”, but I will pray about that.” So, I prayed. Every day, sometimes all day, I prayed. God even kept me up a couple nights in prayer. After about two weeks God spoke to me. He said that he felt that I had learned patience. He also said that in faith, I should add $5000.00 of my own savings to the figure. I ran this by my bride as she is my faithful barometer of, “is it me or God”. She said, “If that’s what God is telling you then you should do that. I also returned to my wise mentor pastor Mason who repeated, “keep stepping forward as the Lord opens the doors!”
When I called to tell the listing realtor that we were going to make an offer, he told me if I tried to bring another realtor into the deal,
he would kill the deal. So, I told my realtor she’d have to sit this one out….and the deal fell flat. When I called the realty company and told them what he had said they drew up a deal and submitted it…it was a deal that expired before the trustees selling the building ever read it…Now I knew God was in this, as the enemy was working so hard to kill this deal. I called my realtor, Devon Wright, and told her to put in an offer and make it a standard contract. When she saw the price of the building, she thought I was crazy…” They’re asking almost $400,000.00 and you want me to put in a contract for $85,000.00 with no inspections and a 30-day settlement? They’ll never accept that!” “Put in the contract and watch the Glory of the Lord!” (A true Pastor Masonism) In a few days they accepted our contract. I realized we did not even have a Spring City Regeneration Church that had contracted to purchase the property!!! After prayer, God gave me the names of those he wanted on the founding board. All but one person accepted, and the founding board was Roy Thompson, John Applebach, Tina Burdette, Kristy Caruso, and me. In 2 ½ weeks, with help from The pastor of Pottstown Bible Church, John Applebach, and many others including an attorney, Bob Snyder, working pro bono, we had a church and a non-profit corporation in PA. Settlement set for September 30th was delayed by the enemy as the Methodists gathered all the documents needed for the title and on October 11, 2019, The young Spring City Regeneration Church had a building. On October 13, 2020, we had our first service with over 60 souls in attendance.
Now what you will not notice here are anything other than the details of what God did. The visions he gave. The faithfulness he maintained…The vision, birthed 3 years ago had occurred in HIS time. Not mine. Every time I tried to take control, I failed. When I let go and Let God…. He brought forth His vision in His time. The confirmations that have come forth, contractors repairing the structure without asking payment, farmers pledging profits from acres of ground, blessings of the borough of Spring City and her Community, highly respected attorneys working pro bono, many churches in the area being excited to help with ministry , donating equipment and sending work teams to us, and last but nowhere near least, Angel’s gift of not $80,000.00 but much, much more, which enables us to get on our feet and function in the community immediately.
We are NOT a church plant. We are simply people following a vision that God has given for this area.
We are a non-denominational, Pentecostal, Ecumenical body of believers, currently working in harmony with Methodist, UCC, Baptist, and other congregations. We are not looking for bodies to warm the pews…God has shown that He will provide and complete His vision. We do “Messy Ministry”. While we acknowledge that handing over a check has its place, our rooms are filled with food
that we distribute to anyone in need. We have boxes and boxes of clothing that is available to those who need it. We partner with organizations such as The You Are Worth It Foundation that may be secular in nature but are spreading the Love of Christ. Our men’s and women’s groups support those who are in need. Our children’s ministry teaches children the right way to go. The entire staff is volunteer. Nobody gets a paycheck. Every penny we collect goes right back into the community ministry and restoration of the structure that I lovingly like to refer to as,” this old girl.” We welcome all who simply want to love on people.
Our Pastor is…. you guessed it, Bill Beck…Yep, Bill and I reconnected after numerous phone calls. His vision for the area is the same…slowly we are making inroads to meet the needs of the community. Pastor Bill keeps preaching the Gospel every Sunday at 10:30 AM. And me? I’m just an old cop that can still play the drums, that God trusted with a vision, surrounded by a people who want to do nothing but serve and Love on people. #ToGodBeTheGlory

WE believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity. WE believe that He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He indwells the body of every believer of
Jesus Christ. He seals, empowers, enlightens and instructs every person who is born again.
[John 14:16-17&26, John 16:7-8, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 4:30]
7. Heaven and Hell
WE believe in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell. Heaven is a place where all born again believers will be with Jesus. A place where there is no more crying, or tears or pain. Hell is the place of eternal torment and punishment for all who reject Jesus Christ.
[Psalm 9:17, John 8:24, John 14:1-6, II Thessalonians 1:7-9, Revelation 20:10-15, Revelation 21:1-3]
WE believe that Satan is an actual being. He is a fallen angel. He is known as; the prince of demons, the god of this age, a liar, an enticer, a deceiver, and adversary of Jesus Christ and His church and the accuser of the brethren.
[Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:12-19, II Corinthians 4:3-4, Revelation 12:7-9, Revelation 20:7-10]
9. Separation and Sanctification
WE believe that the Bible clearly teaches that true followers of Christ are not to conform to this world that those who are "Born Again" should be separated from the world unto Jesus Christ. This means that "Born Again" believers should live their lives separating themselves from sinful practices and to be Holy as He is Holy. God’s provision for living a Holy life is the Believer identifying himself with Jesus Christ in His death, Burial and resurrection as well as the indwelling of the person of the Holy Spirit and the powerful Word of God. We support this statement with the following scriptures:
[Colossians 3:1-5, II Corinthians 6:14-17, Titus 2:14, II Corinthians 7:1, Romans 6:1-14, John 17:17]
10. The Resurrection of the Dead
WE believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the just at the rapture of the church and the unjust at the end of time. We support this with the following:
[I Thessalonians 4:16-17, I Corinthians 15:51-57, Revelation 20:11-15, John 5:28-29]
